On Wednesday, a number of lawsuits were filed in New York, just before the statute of limitations deadline, accusing Guns N' Roses frontman Axl Rose of sexual assault.

Sheila Kennedy, an actress and model, has filed a legal complaint against Rose, accusing him of engaging in sexual assault in 1989. According to Kennedy, she did not provide consent and felt overwhelmed by the situation.

In the case involving Foxx, the individual referred to as Jane Doe has come forward as the alleged victim. According to Jane Doe, she claims that Foxx engaged in offensive physical contact without her consent, specifically by groping her breasts and genitals. This incident is said to have taken place at a rooftop bar located in Manhattan back in 2015.

The filings state that they are being submitted in accordance with the New York Adult Survivors Act. This particular law has created an opportunity for individuals to file sexual assault lawsuits for cases that would have otherwise been considered too old to pursue legal action.

The lead singer of the heavy rock band, known for their popular albums like "Appetite for Destruction," is currently 61 years old. However, there has been no public statement or comment made by the singer regarding any recent events or developments.

Before a complaint was filed with a New York court, he had the opportunity to attend the Las Vegas Formula One Grand Prix over the weekend.

The alleged incident took place in a hotel room in New York after the two individuals met at a nightclub. In the civil case, it has been determined that Rose, also known as William Bruce Rose, will be subjected to a jury trial. The purpose of this trial is for the jury to deliberate and decide whether to grant Kennedy "punitive damages."

According to the complaint, it is alleged that Rose engaged in non-consensual anal intercourse with Kennedy. According to Kennedy's lawyers, she held the belief that if she were to refuse or try to resist, Rose would potentially subject her to physical harm or even more severe consequences.

According to the complaint, Rose allegedly utilized his celebrity status and influence in the music industry to exploit his position, exert control, and engage in acts of physical violence against Kennedy. Guns N' Roses has gained significant recognition primarily for their popular songs, including "Welcome to the Jungle" and "Sweet Child O' Mine."
