Over the past three decades, there has been a significant decline in the growth of median household income compared to earlier generations. Surprisingly, certain measurements suggest that our society is even less mobile than several other nations, including Canada, France, Germany, and many Scandinavian countries. As Xi embarks on his third term as China's leader, the CCP will strive to exert pressure on Taiwan for unification, diminish US influence, create divisions between Washington and its allies, and promote norms that align with its authoritarian system.
